With the change of job my commute went from 20 minutes one way to an hour 15 minutes to an hour and a half each way. And I am only about 10 miles away from Times Square! Go figure!!!
I am pooped. When I accepted the position I thought I was going to have a team of 3 people reporting to me. When the reorg was announced I ended up with 7 people instead of three and have to carry a full workload. I am spending a quarter of my time managing my teams, another quarter working with sales on pricing and half the time working on my projects and my clients. So I am working about 60 hours a week and spending the rest of the time commuting.
I am exhausted.
